Description Production & Process Improvement Managers Bedfordshire – High Volume Industrial Process £35,000 - £40,000 + outstanding benefits package
Our Client is a multi-national, award winning process organisation, involved at the absolute leading edge in the development & manufacture of solutions for the Automotive Industry. Ongoing organisational development with associated internal promotions has led to the creation of these roles which take responsibility for overseeing production processes, ensuring cost effective manufacturing and quality products.
With growth and commercial success flowing from the continual drive by Automotive OEMs to deliver-to-market ever more efficient engine & vehicle designs, these positions have been created to support the Company’s operational management team with enhanced focus on the planning, coordination and control of production processes. Working with teams of highly skilled and experienced Operators & Team Leaders, the focus will be on meeting constantly more challenging production targets whilst using Lean and other approaches to improve plant efficiencies and product quality…. in an environment where “Right First Time” is a way of life and New Product Introduction is a regular event.
An exciting opportunity for professional leaders with the desire and potential to accelerate their operations management careers within an established but still fast-growth organisation… the successful candidates will combine proven project and engineering capabilities, gained within a manufacturing environment, together with the following credentials:
•An Engineering, Manufacturing or related Technical Degree •Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor & develop individuals & teams •Experience of working in a modern best practice production environment where Continuous Improvement is standard •A forward thinking and enthusiastic approach to work. •Ambitious, adaptable, tenacious and calm under pressure
