Description The prime responsibility of the Account Manager is to manage OEM key accounts post phase four sign off and provide full support in the partnership with customer’s drug delivery system. Making sure all activities run seamlessly for the customers and their launched products.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Manage key customers accounts ensuring all their expectations are met (or managed if unrealistic), and that all contractual obligations are met where necessary liaising and using all the necessary OM departments to achieve this, from the international divisions to manufacturing.
Lead and manage all customer crises, ensuring escalation is kept to a minimum and the recovery is planned and resolved as quickly as possible to keep fully updated with customer intelligence, of where potential new OM or OEM drug delivery development efforts should be concentrated.
Working closely with operations to ensure On–Time-Delivery is achieved keeping the customer informed of the supply situation when necessary, and manage changes to schedules ensuring the best is achieved for the customer and OM’s business interest, measuring and analysing the performance of both parties.
Lead and manage key customers’ continuous improvement programmes such as but not limited to, quality improvements and cost reduction exercises, working closely with manufacturing and the commercial managers and ensuring the margins are maintained or improved. Where a development project must be established, the
Account Manager shall define and establish that project, ensuring internal costs and commercial cover are understood and liaise and support the nominated project manager throughout the project’s execution.
To consolidate and summarise customer account activity as required for internal or external steering review.
Manage key customers’ weekly, monthly or quarterly reviews including metrics which cover supply performance, such as but not limited to, adherence to plan, i.e., actual production | | |
