Description A leading multi national engineering company are looking for a part time HR officer to assist across recruitment, reporting, policy, procedures, inductions and other key functions within HR
Role
To support the delivery of a professional and dedicated HR Service
To support the HR Manager in the development and implementation of policies and processes to support the business
To be the primary contact for all HR matters.
Assist in the recruitment process - ie. Liaise with recruitment agencies, set up interviews, interview and issue relevant correspondence.
Complete HR reporting requirements.
Advise internal managers and staff regarding Company policy and procedure.
Ensure implementation and delivery of process and procedure e.g. resouricng, absence management, reward and recognition.
Responsibility for all ADP inputs (starters, leavers, change of status information) and reports.
Planning and sometimes delivering training, including inductions for new employees.
Listen to grievances and implement disciplinary procedures with support of HR Manager.
Assist in the Security Clearance Process.

Strong team player, flexible and adaptable to changing priorities. Be able to use initiative to filter and resolve problems expeditiously.

Ability to work under pressure in a confidential office environment.
Qualifications & Experience
A-level or equivalent qualification
CIPD part or fully qualified or willing to study for this qualification
Experience as an HR Officer/Advisor
Experience within a customer led manufacturing business (automotive, aerospace, defence preferred) is desirable.
25hrs per week
Pro rata salary of 25k | | |
