Programme Sourcing Manager/Buyer x2

A world leading Aerospace company are looking for supply chain professionals to achieve a robust transfer from product development into volume production, to ensure cost effective solutions
In addition, the Programme Sourcing Manager will provide support to the Commodity Managers to implement best practice strategic sourcing principles across a number of commodities, and generate cost reduction solutions.
Ensure required Product Quality, Cost, & Delivery are delivered to programme and align with the Business Strategic needs.
Supply Chain Lifecycle Process :Support the coordination of the definition, implementation and development of Supply Chain processes that ensure Supply Chain departments are fully complying with lifecycle process
Supply Chain Strategy :Support and comply with Supply Chain strategies into potential new opportunities. Coordinate the implementation of Supply Chain strategies including make Vs buy decisions
Bid Management :Suppport the generation of Supply Chain input into bids including provision of recurring and non-recurring costs as well as risks and opportunities Post contract award, ensure that an action plan is formulated and executed that ensures compliance with Supply Chain related customer requirements
To assess any customer offset, transfer of technology or in-country manufacturing requirements and develop Supply Chain strategies
Cost & Resource Management :Pre-bid – Ensure Supply Chain provide appropriate recurring and non-recurring cost estimates into the bid team and ensure RC & NRC targets are set at contract award. In conjunction with company processes, identify capacity and lead-time issues of potential business opportunities and current development programmes,
Design For Manufacture & Assembly Ensure all items are manufacturable and achieve target cost requirements. Coordinate cross-departmental cost reduction initiatives for development programmes.
Manufacturing Test Strategy: Coordinate the definition and implementation of production test strategies for all OE development products
Configuration Control: To be the custodian of configuration requirement flow down and control
Substantial manufacturing and Supply Chain experience, ideally with a design element.
Possess Basis levels of Project management knowledge and improvement techniques
Experience of introducing new suppliers.
