Core purpose of Job:
To manage the operations division’s projects ensuring compliance with Almarai’s objectives and strategy, plan, implement and document the execution of specific projects ensuring optimal conditions and building within laid down specification, approved drawings and within approved capital expenditures and provide special engineering skills and services to the projects.
Very Useful Exposure to some of the following will enhance your application:-
o Industrial Refrigeration using Ammonia gas.
o Central Air conditioning systems
o Water Treatment using Reverse Osmosis
o Effluent Treatment systems
o Fire Protection systems (sprinkler systems and fire mains)
o Process pipe work and Pumping equipment
o Compressed Air equipment, preferably oil-free
o Oil-fired Steam boilers 10bar working pressure

o Areas of Responsibility (AOR)
• Develop and execute projects to achieve agreed functional outcomes.
• Provide management of Operations Division project team ensuring adequate resources, skills and experience are available to meet project demands.
• Manage the projects group H&S activities in accordance with Almarai’s policy
• Manage consultants, suppliers, contractors and internal customers to ensure objectives are met
• Co-ordinate project activities in accordance with Almarai’s Quality System, Standard Quality Procedure and Engineering Specifications.
Qualifications:
• Degree Mechanical Engineering or Dairy Technology
Experience
• 5 - 10 years minimum Food/Dairy management experience
• Result driven individual. Strong interpersonal skills.
• Food/Dairy projects executed value over USD 5M
• Project Management Experience
• Contract Management

? Well developed planning skills
? Ability to work within stringent financial, quality and time-bound targets
? Team player with a high level of self-initiative. Ability to develop staff
