You will be responsible for the overall management of two Dairy Manufacturing Plants, two Blow Molding Plants and one Cheese Plant. Cost effective production outputs, maximizing operational efficiencies and sustaining short, medium and long term business plans will form part of the core purpose of the role. You will have 4 qualified Manufacturing Managers reporting to you and a multi-national workforce of around 940 personnel producing a first class product range of Dairy Foods and Juices.
Naturally we are looking for someone with proven ability of handling a similar role in a large Multi National FMCG company. Direct experience within our industry will be most advantageous to your application. We envisage that you will have at least 15 years Operations /Manufacturing experience, 10 of which will be in managerial roles. You will hold a Bachelors Degree/formal qualification in Dairy Technology/ Dairy Science and ideally will have successfully completed post graduate studies. Your skill set will include excellent communication skills, risk and H& S awareness, problem solving and commercial acumen. In addition you will be a strong leader with a positive attitude who encourages others to exceed high expectations that are laid down.
The role reports to our General Manager for Operations. The current role incumbent retires in 2010 and we would like to recruit as soon as possible to ensure a smooth comprehensive handover.
