Core Purpose of Job: To lead the Health, Safety and Security Polices and Practices into one of our Divisions by leveraging strategic alignment, cultural change managment and best practice health, safety and security processes for higher brand value and business performance. -Leadership. As a professional, act as an expert in the field of health, safety and security to provide divisional strategic and tactical concepts and practical leadership for the divisional stakeholders in the areas of health, safety and security. -Resource Management. Manage and direct all Health, Safety and Security efforts and resource across all the Divisions locations to achieve a safe and secure working environment. -Policy Custodian. Provide leadership and direction to integrate polices across Divisional locations to protect its assets. Be fully accountable to the divisional executive, and head office for health, safety and security performance and provide transparent and accurate statistical evidence to demonstrate world class performance to deliver saving and profits to the bottom line -Process. Manage and deliver initiatives to ensure the running of world class and up to date health, safety and security processes across the division in all geographical locations. -Loss prevention. Strategically direct and guide the division to fully integrated loss prevention and control culture in line with the current 5 years business plan, to reduce unnecessary costs and wastage. -Budget Management. Plan, manage and influence the division’s health, safety and security budgets, controlling and minimizing cost, and adding value across the division in all geographical locations. Ideal candidates should hold a University Degree, and we would appreciate them having NEBOSH Certificate or Post Graduate in Health, Safety and Security or similar. Ideally candidates should have a minimum of 10 years experience in managing Health, Safety and Security at a senior level preferably in a Baby Foods environment, Manufacturing and/ or Construction company. Good knowledge in international Safety and Security codes and their applications, fully competent on Risk assessment, and ability to understand the Intelligence and Networking sources. Must be able to conduct Health and Safety awareness programs independently, and able to manage multi national employees and lead them to a Safety culture. Should be focused, calm under pressure, self motivated, confident, fair and open minded. Together with this the candidate should have excellent written and oral English communication skills, strong, confident and energetic leadership style, positive thinker; solution oriented and exhibit great man management skills as well.
