PROJECT MANAGER E&I
GAS DISTRIBUTION
BASED OXFORD, READING, SOUTHAMPTON OR SOUTH LONDON

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager (Electrical and Instrumentation) who will report to the Head of Network Construction and will manage the design, procurement, implementation and installation of E&I Projects.
As Project Manager E&I, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are carried out to programme and within budget and will provide support for the Project Manager (Construction) with the design, procurement, implementation and installation of E&I aspects of major construction projects.
This role will involve liaison with Maintenance, Asset Management and other third parties and efficient management of contractors within the specific Framework Agreement. You will also ensure that projects are carried out safely and in accordance with company policy and procedures.
To succeed as Project Manager E&I, you should be qualified to at least HND level in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or in Process Instrumentation & Control. Knowledge and experience of electrical, instrumentation, control and telemetry systems in the gas industry is essential and knowledge of ATEX, DSEAR and Hazardous Areas is also required. Being electrically authorised in some form would be an advantage.
You must be self motivated, able to control budgets, people, resources and tasks. You must be able to deal effectively with times of conflicting priorities and challenging timescales as well as being able to work with people at all levels.
