As Lead Engineer (Electrical Distribution) you will be responsible for contributing through-life engineering expertise to the planning, design, construction, test, commission, operation, maintenance, refurbishment and decommissioning of the electrical distribution networks.
The responsibility of the Lead Engineer (Electrical Distribution) is to undertake strategic planning and configuration management of the Electrical Distribution Systems to enable these systems to be planned, designed and constructed to operate safely, securely and economically.
Your role will encompass the provision of engineering support in utility planning, operations and projects including decommissioning. You will be responsible for strategic planning for electrical distribution, the provision of in-house engineering consultancy services, configuration management and all statutory, regulatory, engineering, operational and maintenance requirements relevant to electrical distribution.
HNC/Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering you will possess knowledge of electrical systems and equipment including their technical standards and knowledge of the set-up, download and analysis of data logger and power quality monitoring instruments.
