An exciting opportunity now exist for Control and Instrumentation Engineers to join one of the nation?s largest high-technology research and development facilities offering an environment that needs and encourages the best and has in place everything you need to develop a career path tailored precisely to your skills and experience.
Your key responsibilities will include monitoring of engineering configuration changes, integrating safety and engineering within the design, maintenance of appointed discipline standards and ensuring the appropriate level of investigation of designs for compliance including all legal regulatory requirements.
You should possess a thorough understanding of Controls and Instrumentation, knowledge of EMC regulations, software delivery methodology and an understanding of Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmosphere Regulations (DSEAR). A good understanding of the overall design process from concept to decommissioning design lifecycle is beneficial.
Qualified to a minimum of a Bachelor degree or the equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline you should be of Chartered Engineer status or possess the ability to work towards Chartered status. Experience of project delivery in a nuclear regulated industry is preferable.
