Description
Our client is a world leading chemical manufacturing organisation. Their Royston based manufacturing facility uses bespoke automated systems for high volume production.
Due to ongoing business expansion, they are seeking to recruit two Assistant Production Managers to assist the Production Management team with the planning, coordination and control of production processes. Working with teams of highly skilled and experienced supervisors and operators, you will look to hit and exceed production targets and increase plant efficiencies and product quality. These positions will also play a key part in the ongoing implementation of the Lean project across production departments.
This is an exciting developmental opportunity for candidates wanting a career in production management with a well established and successful organisation.
Successful candidates will combine proven project and engineering capabilities within a manufacturing environment with the following credentials:
A degree relative to chemistry, engineering, manufacturing or metallurgy.
Proven leadership skills and the ability to develop and coach colleagues.
Working knowledge of modern best practise methodologies such as lean manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or 6 Sigma.
A forward thinking and enthusiastic approach to your work.
Strong organisational and decision making abilities.
The ability to develop positive relationships and commitment throughout the business.
The motivation and determination to make a real difference to the business.
